UPDATE:  Bret moved to New York in 2009.  He is available for pit, session, and fill-in work in NYC and on Long Island.

Bret Scheinfeld is a professional drummer with 10 years' experience playing in diverse environments, including recording sessions, rock concerts, jazz combos, and musical theatre.

Bret has worked as pit percussionist on 30 musical theatre productions (see list & references below).

Bret reads sheet music and charts fluently, and is able to adapt and compliment any musical style with grace, dynamics, and ease.  He has been called a "human metronome" for his timing, but is also known for the feeling and musical touch with which he plays.
